Effects of Changing Dimensions
When we double the dimensions of Carlos we used the Scale Factor of 2 and multiplied it by the perimeter. We also used the Scale Factor of 2 and multiplied the SF twice by the area. Which makes it 4 times bigger than the original area.
When we triple the dimensions of Carlos we used the Scale Factor of 3 and multiplied it by the perimeter. We also used the Scale Factor of 3 and multiplied it twice by the area. Which makes it 9 times bigger than the original area.
